Our Mission Statement
Reforge Charleston is a dynamic, member-run non-profit makerspace located in the Citadel Mall. Our mission is to provide a collaborative environment where makers, creators, and innovators of all backgrounds can come together to design, build, and learn. With a diverse array of tools and resources, including woodworking equipment, 3D printers, electronics, and more, we empower our members to bring their ideas to life. We provide a facility for people to utilize tools and equipment, teach classes for the general public and hold events for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) awareness.
What is a Makerspace?
At Reforge, we believe in the power of community. Whether you’re a beginner exploring your creativity or an experienced professional looking to enhance your skills, you’ll find support, inspiration, and camaraderie here. Our space is open to anyone with a passion for making, and we offer flexible memberships to suit your needs.
Even if the space appears closed, members have access to the facility during mall hours, ensuring you can work on your projects when it’s most convenient for you. We encourage you to connect with others, share your knowledge, and take part in events, workshops, and group projects that help everyone grow.
