Our Mission Statement

Reforge Charleston is an education based non-profit makerspace based in Charleston, SC. We provide a facility for people to utilize tools and equipment, teach classes for the general public and hold events for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) awareness.

What is a Makerspace?

A Makerspace is a community workshop giving people introduction, education and access to machines, materials, and methods to make all kinds of things. It is an environment for exploring the edges of creativity through mediums such as technology. If you are a DIY enthusiast, model maker, engineer, crafts person, hobbyist, artist, or inventor, we invite you to come for a tour.

Our Facility

Our 3800 sq ft facility is located in Charleston at the Citadel Mall. We provide equipment, teaching, and support for tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, and inventors. With the support of our community and enough time and practice, you can learn how to make almost anything. Members of RFC have access to our facility, tools, and equipment as well as discounts on classes.
