Accessing Reforge with the Kisi App

Kisi is our digital key management system, allowing you 24/7 access to our facilities. Here’s how to get set up:

  1. Download the Kisi App: Available on both iOS and Android.
  2. Receive Your Invitation: After your membership is processed, you’ll get an email from Kisi. Follow the instructions to set up your account.
  3. Unlocking Doors: Open the Kisi app, find Reforge’s doors listed, and simply press the unlock button when you’re close to a door.

For more detailed instructions, refer to the Kisi Documentation.

Kisi / Reforge Gate and Door Access

The front gate is now connected to Kisi App and must be opened with the app. The Gate should show up on the Door page.

1.     Visually check that the gate lever is in the LOCKED position (as it should be).  If it isn’t, TURN the lever to the Locked position before proceeding.

2.     GOTO the KISI APP and tap the GATE ICON.

3.    You will hear the solenoid latch open.

4.     THEN AS USUAL, turn the gate lever to OPEN and Pull up the gate.

USE the Kisi app (as usual) for Front red door.

WHEN LEAVING:
If the gate is already open, just walk out, pull the gate down and turn the gate lever to the Lock position as usual. If the gate is already down and latched, you can use THE NEW  “NO TOUCH” EXIT BUTTON located in the lobby next to the classroom door (that releases the solenoid just like KISI does), then just walk out, Pull the gate down and set the latch to the locked position as usual. (This lever lock step is done so that Security can visually check that the Gate is locked and ensures that the gate is at the proper position for the solenoid to cleanly release upon the next activation.)

Raise the gate and keep it open while occupied. Use the Kisi app to unlock the Double red doors to get into the main area. You can shut the double doors if you will be alone or in the back room. Always check to see if you are the last person when leaving. If so, turn out the lights and close the gate using the instructions above.
